Version 6.5.4 of TBK is ready, with hundreds of changes, and about 11 million lines of code reduced. YellOS 1.0 may suffer a small delay, to about November 22nd. But, with some luck, I still might get it ready by November 1st. YellOS 0.99.3 is available for pre-order. I will release the TBK source code in Late October/Early November when the Linux kernel 6.6 releases.

We have updated the end of support date for YellOS Caramel Crunch Feature Updates 2 through 5, and all YellOS Tangerine releases, even though F2 is the newest released. You will stop recieving updates on April 30th 2025, as mentioned a few days ago. But the security updates are until April 30th 2027.

YellOS is being sent to professional bug testers to prepare for the release of 0.98 (YellOS Tangerine F3). The release date is expected to be between November 1st and November 22nd.

Stable release of YellOS 0.96, known as YellOS Tangerine F1. This version includes the MATE desktop theme for increased customization options, at the cost of using 50MB more RAM.
Pre-betas are no longer free to support development and charity.
Some alpha versions of x86 YellOS are available, with the latest alpha being version Carrot 0.71. x86 YellOS is priced at 11.99€ or 10.31£.

The final bug fixes have been added to YellOS, along with extended support until April 2027. Regular support will continue until April 2025, while critical security updates will be available until April 2027.
This marks the end of development for YellOS Caramel Crunch, with version 0.95.9 being the last version. Security updates will still be provided occasionally.
YellOS 0.96 (YellOS Tangerine F1) is stable and available for order. Beta for 0.97 is also available with bug fixes.
YellOS Tangerine F1 includes the MATE desktop theme and is no longer free to support development and charity efforts.

YellOS has changed from using PlayOnLinux to Wine Is Not An Emulator (WINE) for broader program support and ease of use. This is a temporary change as they work on their own Windows PE-based environment for inclusion by next year.

x86 version of YellOS is confirmed, with leaked minimum requirements: 512MB of RAM (1GB recommended), Pentium III processor 1GHz+ (Pentium M or higher recommended), 10-12GB of disk space, USB/DVD drive for installation, graphics card and monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution.
