The minimum requirements for YellOS 1.0 BETA are as follows:

• 1GB of RAM (DDR, DDR2, anything)

• 18 GB of disk space (20GB recommended)

• 1GHz dual-core processor (The lowest processor we have tested with is a Pentium D, it works)

• VGA graphics card capable of a 1024x768 resolution

• Network capable of an Internet connection (not obligatory, but highly recommended.)

• USB/DVD drive for installation

Keep in mind these are minimum requirements, and may not be ideal for decent performance.

Here are some recommended requirements for decent performance:

• 4GB of RAM 

• 20-30 GB of disk storage

• 2GHz processor (between 2 and 4 cores) Intel Core i3 of AMD Ryzen 3 or equivalent.

• Any half decent graphics card

• Network capable of Internet connection for surfing the web

• USB/DVD drive for installation.

If you would like to install YellOS from a USB drive, please use a USB drive of a minimum of 4GB for installation.
